 This was one of the longest running programs. It first ran on the NBC West Coast network, Jan. 16 - Sep. 29, 1939. Then to the NBC network, Oct. 2, 1939 - Jun. 27, 1940. The show then shifted to the Blue network, Sep. 30, 1940 - Jun. 29, 1942. CBS picked up the show and ran it from Mar. 22, 1943 - Dec. 29, 1944. Almost five years later the show was run on the Mutal network, Oct. 3, 1949 - Dec. 26. 1952. Even though the show was popular, not many of the episodes have survived. Some of the episodes offered here are not from the original broadcast, but re-enactments of the original episodes in order to fill in the gaps of an adventure serial.
