 This program was a result of Orson Welles' tour of South America in 1942. The tour was financed by RKO and the Nelson Rockefeller's Interurban Affairs Committee. The purpose was to make a film which was never produced. However, the tour did lead to the making of this program. Others appearing on the show were: Carmen Miranda, Agnes Moorehead, Ray Collins, Hans Conried, Pedro De Cordoba, Ted Reid, Barbara Jean Wong, Lud Gluskin and His Orchestra, Gerald Mohr, Edmond O'Brien, Miguelito Valdez, Lou Merrill, Norman Field and Laird Cregar. |
