California Melodies dates back to Dec. 14, 1935 and was a CBS-Don Lee network broadcast. The next known dates to Apr. 18, 1940 and was Mutual-Don Lee net, KHJ, Los Angeles originated. The show stayed on the air until 1948 according to the most current avaiable records. In addition to those pictured here, many other stars were regulars on the show and many guest stars made appearances.
