Bob Hope, after starting out in radio in 1937, didn't really gain his own radio show until 1948 with NBC and his show would remain with NBC until it's last air date in 1954 Through the years many regulars of the show would appear later in their own shows. The Hope show was a breedin ground for future great talent.
